Hiya! So it's the start of for what most of us is a busy holiday weekend and I'm sure that by now if you're hosting or bringing something to someone's house you've got your menu all nailed down and the last thing you need right now is another new Passover or Easter dish to tempt you to deviate from your plan (if you don't know what the heck you're making yet or are feeling overwhelmed, take a deep breath and try not to panic--shoot me an email and we can last minute menu plan together) But as I was scrolling through my Recipe Index searching for the recipes I needed for the Seder I'm hosting, I realized that there are a whole lot of really terrific Springy recipes that I've sort of forgotten about. And if I'm forgetting about them and I'm the one that cooked them, generally multiple times, photographed, wrote and posted about them, how can I expect you to remember them?!! And that isn't even taking into account those of you who are new to the site. So instead of a Famous Fridays, I thought I'd send you off into the weekend with a bunch of lighter, tried and true recipes for the new season, because it's actually been a week around here without any snow!!! You'll find some ideas for breakfast and brunch, main dishes, a bunch of salads and of course, desserts. Happy Spring cooking! Have a wonderful and delicious holiday with your family and friends and I'll be back next week as we actually make it into April!!!
